This month’s wallpapers hail from one of my favorite places in the Bay Area. North of the Golden Gate bridge just 30 minutes is this little gem of a spot that feels like you’re hundreds of miles from the city. During sunset it feels like you’re in a fairy tale. There’s tons of great hiking trails all over if you’re looking for a good afternoon of adventuring. These photos capture something particularly rare – most of the year the grass here is a yellow/brown that San Francisco is known for. Since it’s been a good year of precipitation, we’ve had a nice long spring of bright green grass. The photos below were taken during two different trips up there about a month apart. In some of them, orange poppies can be seen everywhere – these bloomed in late March/early April.
