This original commercial cut was created by Zak Shelhamer and preliminary graphics by Davis Paul. When we were told it was going to TV I went in with Davis and revisited the intro graphics. I wanted to make it a little more rich as well as clean up the way Shaun was cut from the background. We also gave the text some 3D depth and had it rotate in space with the shot of Shaun.
Color Grading
This was the first video I colored for TV on my own. I previously oversaw our colorist in LA for TV commercials but I’ve worked the past few months to install our own equipment in-house. It’s pretty basic and I’ve colored a lot of snow over the years. It was colored with Davinci Resolve.
